The psoas connects three dynamic areas of the body, the spine, pelvis and femur. It is the connection point between the upper and lower body and in this role, it can become imbalanced or dysfunctional due to imbalanced movement patterns, postural deviations or structural challenges. Understand the anatomy, structure and functions of the psoas and how to balance it in the Pilates studio.
